Montblanc is a name synonymous with exceptional fountain pens and artisan craftsmanship, so when they chose to create a masterpiece chronograph wristwatch, they opted to pay homage to Nicolas Rieussec, the inventor of the original chronograph (or “time writer”) which used ink to record time – and was known as the “Watchmaker of the King.”

This Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph GMT is housed in its 43mm stainless steel case, has an exhibition style sapphire crystal caseback to enjoy its Montblanc automatic movement, and features a non-screw crown with 1 o-ring Montblanc insignia. The domed sapphire crystal offers double anti-reflective coating, a silver dial, automatic winding monopusher chronograph Montblanc MB R200 movement with 30 min and 60 second counters with rotating discs, second time zone with day and night, and approximately 72 hours of power reserve, original dark brown leather alligator strap, and is water resistant to 30 meters.

As a complete set, the watch includes the original Montblanc outer box, inner box, open warranty card, Lido Watch Club microfiber cleaning cloth, and Haute Horlogerie operating manual service guide.
