How can I purchase a watch from Lido Watch Club?

You can do it either in person, or securely online. If you’re in SoCal, we’d love to meet in person! Please make an appointment to visit us in Irvine. Otherwise, you can purchase directly online, and we’ll process/ship your order overnight insured to you.

Would you buy my timepiece for cash?

We’re always looking for luxury timepieces that are in good or great condition. We’ll evaluate your watch and offer top dollar for it. Check out our “Sell-A-Watch” page to see our 5 step process, then submit your watch information to get started.

Are all your watches authentic?

Yes, absolutely! Lido Watch Club is a registered and reputable dealer and watch trader in the luxury timepiece space. We have many online reviews and direct references available, and we stand behind the authenticity of every watch we sell.

How does your #TradeUp Program work? 

We offer members a 12-month buyback guarantee, called our signature #TradeUp Program to help you freely trade up into other favorite brands, or experience new ones, without transactional friction or wasting time: Lido Watch Club’s #TradeUp Program

Do you have a physical store?

Yes, you can make an appointment, and visit us in Irvine. Or purchase directly online, and we’ll process/ship your order overnight insured to you. Once we’ve done more business together, we’ll come to you!

Are your photographs of the actual watch?

Yes, we only showcase what we have in stock, on our website and all photos shown are of the actual watch taken by our professional photographers.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes, we offer a limited one-year warranty for all watches from the date of invoice unless otherwise indicated in the listing or invoice (conditions apply).

What is your return policy?

We offer a 5 day refund policy for online orders (conditions apply); but do not offer any refunds on watches purchased in-person or through international sales. Outside of the 5 days, we offer a buyback program of either 20% off your purchase price (#TradeUp Program) or 30% off your purchase price (minus any damage to the watch) for our cash offer.

Is your website secure?

Yes, we keep all member information private and secure. Our website is protected by a 256 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) so your information is completely protected and securely backed up to our servers nightly.

In the luxury watch market (and business in general): “you buy the seller” – meaning that your reputation precedes you. We are full-time watch traders, and passionate about unique timepieces, excited to become your “go-to-watch-guy.”

Will Lido Watch Club buy my watch?

It depends! If you originally bought it from us, check out our #TradeUp Program first. If you bought it elsewhere, please submit your watch information here: Sell-A-Watch and we’ll give you an offer.

Do you offer appraisals?

No, we are not an appraisal service for insurance purposes, given an appraisal is generally inflated to cover deductibles. We can provide a buy offer for your watch, based on our proprietary pricing algorithms and our ongoing secondary market analysis.

How do I get paid?

We pay within 24 hours by wire payment direct to your bank account, or we can send you a check. It’s up to you. If you would like a check to be overnighted to you, there is a $30 fee.

Do you offer trades?

Yes, we will offer you a value for your watch, that can be applied as credit for any watch on our site. If the value is less or more than our watch, we’ll exchange the difference.

How do I know you have not tampered with my watch?

We record the session, in fact, all watches are opened under video tape when they come into our boutique. We do not open the caseback of your watch until an offer has been made and agreed to.

What if I'm not happy with your Buy Offer?

We will pay to return your watch to you via two-day insured FedEx shipping. If we offer you, your full expected value for your watch, but you decline that offer, you are to send us a label to return the watch to you.

Do you offer a buyback guarantee?

Yes, our #TradeUp Program is our signature 12-month buyback guarantee. You can buy and enjoy luxury timepiece(s) with the peace of mind and confidence that you can recoup your investment within 12-months of your purchase… whether you decide to sell it back to us (for cash), or decide to trade up (for credit) toward another luxury timepiece.

Are buying luxury watches a good investment?

Absolutely! Especially if you can buy them below MSRP or retail prices. In fact, you can park your capital in alternative liquid assets and enjoy them while you own them, liquidate them at your discretion, or better yet #tradeup into more expensive timepieces and grow your holdings / wealth.

What if I want to just do a straight trade?

We’ll gladly accommodate! We will inspect your watch, offer you a value for your it, that can be applied as credit for any watch on our site. If the value is less or more than our watch, we’ll exchange the difference. Please submit your watch information here: Sell-A-Watch

How is the #TradeUp Program different from your refund policy?

Well, first there’s a 10% difference, in that with our #TradeUp Program, the buyback amount is 20% off your purchase price, whereas, our refund policy (after 6 days) is 30% off your purchase price (minus any damage to the watch) for our cash offer. Secondly, with our #TradeUp Program, you’ve become a Lido Watch Club member and will enjoy preferred access and pricing on new inventory.

What are my payment options?

For in-store and in-person transactions, we accept cash. For online transactions, we accept wire (bank transfer), all major US credit cards, and PayPal. We also offer flexible financing and payment plan options through our partner, Affirm that lets you invest in a watch now and pay for it over time. For international orders, we only accept wire payments.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, all domestic orders are shipped through FedEx Overnight and are fully insured against loss, theft, and damage during its transit, to protect your investment – at no charge to you. For international orders, we do offer shipping for an additional fee.

When should I expect to receive my watch?

As soon as we receive your wire transfer or settled funds, and you’ve electronically signed your invoice, and provided us with a copy of your ID or drivers license, we’ll finalize processing your watch to be shipped, and email you tracking information.

Do I have to sign for delivery?

Yes, due to the nature of our products and their value, every single one of the packages we send out will need an adult signature at the time of delivery. For insurance reasons, we are not able to ship our products if there isn’t an adult available to sign for the package upon delivery.

How much would I pay for insuring my watch?

We’ve partnered with Jewelers Mutual to offer you a free quote on your timepiece. Generally, rates depend on where you live, and insurance will cost 1-2% of the value of your watch. As for deductibles, your options start with $0, $100, $250 and $500. Get a free insurance quote today!
